  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) fire-roasted diced tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté the chopped onion and bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks until browned (approximately 7 minutes).

  4. Add the rinsed black beans, kidney beans, and diced tomatoes (including juice). Stir well to combine.
