- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
- Season chicken with Cajun seasoning. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook chicken for about 6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté broccoli for about 4 minutes until bright green; add minced garlic during the last minute.
- Lower heat to medium-low, pour in heavy cream, and scrape any browned bits from the pan. Stir in Parmesan until melted; add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
- Slice chicken and toss it with cooked pasta and broccoli in the Alfredo sauce.
