- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda

Instructions

- In another bowl, cream softened butter with both sugars until fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla, then gradually add flour, baking soda, salt, and fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the brownie batter in the prepared dish, dollop cookie dough on top, then pour remaining brownie batter over.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Cool slightly before cutting into squares.
