  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries
  • Zest and juice of 1 large orange

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, eggs, salt, orange zest, and half the flour. Mix until combined.
  3. Gradually add the remaining flour until a soft dough forms; knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl; cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled (about 1 hour).
  5. Punch down the dough, roll it out into a rectangle, spread melted butter, and sprinkle cranberries and sugar.
  6. Roll tightly into a log; cut into equal pieces (about 1 inch thick).
  7. Place rolls in greased pans, cover, and let rise again until puffy (about 30 minutes). Preheat oven to 350°F.
  8. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown; drizzle with powdered sugar glaze made from orange juice.
