  • 1 cup jasmine or brown rice
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the bell peppers and onion; let the steak reach room temperature.
  2. Cook the rice according to package directions (about 15-20 minutes for jasmine rice).
  3. Sear the seasoned steak in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side until medium-rare.

  5. Slice rested steak against the grain into thin strips.
