- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3–4 tablespoons ice water
- 4 fresh apricots, halved and pitted
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for egg wash)
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water until a dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
- 2. Preheat Oven: While dough chills, preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 3. Roll Out Dough: Roll chilled dough into a rough circle (about 12 inches wide) on a floured surface.
- 4. Arrange Apricots: Place halved apricots in the center of the dough, overlapping slightly, and sprinkle with sugar.
