Description

Indulge in the delightful warmth of Garlic Parmesan Dinner Rolls, where buttery softness meets garlicky goodness topped with rich parmesan cheese. These fluffy, flavorful rolls are the perfect accompaniment to any meal, whether it’s a festive holiday feast or a cozy family dinner. With just a few simple ingredients and steps, you can easily create this gourmet treat that will have everyone asking for seconds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix warm water and sugar; sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and garlic powder; stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the risen dough, divide into 12 equal portions, shape into balls, and place on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and let rolls rest for another 30 minutes. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Drizzle with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding chopped herbs like rosemary or thyme to the dough.

Use freshly grated parmesan for better melting and taste.

Leftover rolls can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
