- ½ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup bourbon

- In a small bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter; mix until smooth. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Cook bacon until crispy; drain and chop into small pieces.
