  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend the black beans, cocoa powder, maple syrup, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and baking powder until smooth.
  3. Fold in half of the chocolate chips into the mixture.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
