Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup digestive biscuits (about 200g)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (56g), melted
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 396g)
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (240ml)
  • Optional: Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs.
  2. Combine the crushed biscuits with melted butter in a bowl. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, stir the sweetened condensed milk for about 5-7 minutes until it thickens and turns caramel-colored. Pour over the cooled biscuit base.
  4. Layer sliced bananas over the warm caramel filling.
  5. Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form and spread over the bananas.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator before serving. Optionally, garnish with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings.
