  • 1 cup cooked pork belly or chicken thighs, shredded (150g)
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped (70g)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (30ml)
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha or hoisin sauce (15ml)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Gradually add warm water while stirring until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the dough and divide into small portions; roll each into circles.
  5. Prepare the filling by cooking your protein with soy sauce and Sriracha until caramelized; mix in chopped cabbage.
  6. Place filling on each dough circle, fold closed, and steam in a bamboo steamer lined with parchment paper for approximately 15 minutes.
