- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter

- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Layer half of the potato slices in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in half of the shredded cheese.
- Pour half of the cheese sauce over the potatoes. Repeat layers with remaining potatoes and sauce, topping with leftover cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
