- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce (divided)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells in salted boiling water for about 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, then stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning until fragrant. Mix in ricotta cheese until well combined.
- Stuff each pasta shell generously with the beef mixture and place them seam-side up in the prepared baking dish.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, removing foil for the last 5 minutes to allow cheese to brown.
