  • 2 medium fresh oranges, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium fresh lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan.
  2. Arrange orange and lemon slices at the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup sugar over medium heat until golden brown; pour over the citrus.
