Instructions

- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and pat down to about 1/2 inch thick. Use a round cutter to cut out doughnut shapes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Fry doughnuts in batches until golden brown on both sides—about 2 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels, cool slightly, then glaze or decorate as desired.
