Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into small pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and chopped strawberries until smooth.
  3. Unroll the thawed puff pastry onto a floured surface and cut it into rectangles about four inches wide.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on one end of each pastry rectangle and roll tightly.
  5. Arrange the rolls seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking tray. Brush the tops with an egg wash for a golden finish.
