  • 1 cup fresh apple cider
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix apple cider, eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients; stir until just mixed.
  5. Fill each donut mold halfway with batter and bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow cooling slightly before removing from the pan. Dust with cinnamon sugar while warm.
