Instructions

  3. Cool and peel: Transfer boiled eggs to the ice bath for 5 minutes. Peel under running water.
  4. Make the marinade: Combine soy sauce, water, garlic, brown sugar, and chili flakes in a bowl until sugar dissolves.
  5. Marinate: Submerge peeled eggs in the marinade in an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  6. Serve: Slice the marinated eggs in half and drizzle with leftover marinade before serving.
