Description

Lemon-Garlic Sea Bass with Creamed Spinach is a delightful dish that beautifully combines the bright flavors of lemon and garlic with tender sea bass and rich, creamy spinach.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sea bass fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  2. Pat the sea bass fillets dry, season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat, then sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Place the seasoned fillets in the baking dish, pour the sautéed garlic on top, and drizzle with lemon juice. Bake for 15-20 minutes until flaky.
  5. Meanwhile, in the same skillet, melt the remaining butter, add spinach, and stir until wilted. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer until thickened.
  6. Serve the fish on plates alongside creamed spinach and garnish with extra lemon juice if desired.
