- 1 cup diced fresh or canned peaches (drained if canned)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix warm milk and yeast; let it froth for about 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, melted butter, salt, flour, and cinnamon; combine until a dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Prepare the peach filling by mixing peaches with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread melted butter, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon, then add the peach mixture.
- Roll tightly into a log shape and cut into equal pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
