Perfect for brunch or a cozy breakfast at home, these rolls are easy to make and irresistibly delicious. Topped with a sweet glaze, they promise a heavenly experience that will have everyone coming back for more!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: Warm milk until lukewarm and sprinkle in yeast with a teaspoon of sugar; let sit for five minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, melted butter, and the frothy yeast mixture along with one egg. Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
  3. Let it rise: Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with cloth, and let it rise for about one hour until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out dough: Punch down the risen dough and roll into a rectangle about half an inch thick; spread melted butter evenly over it.
  5. Add filling: Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar over the buttered surface, then add chopped strawberries. Roll tightly and slice into equal pieces.
  6. Bake & glaze: Place rolls in a greased baking dish to rise again while preheating oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar with milk; drizzle over warm rolls.
