Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the potatoes into thin wedges or sticks. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  2. Heat the canola oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Drain and thoroughly pat dry the soaked potatoes with paper towels.
  4. Toss the dried potato sticks in a bowl with sea salt, paprika, and garlic powder until well-coated.
