Description

  • 34 lbs chuck roast
  • 1 oz ranch dressing mix (1 packet)
  • 1 oz au jus gravy mix (1 packet)
  • 46 pepperoncini peppers, whole
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Sear the chuck roast in a hot skillet with oil until browned on all sides.
  2. Transfer the seared roast to a slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle ranch dressing and au jus gravy mixes evenly over the roast.
  4. Place pepperoncini peppers on top and pour in half of their brine.
  5. Add butter on top of the ingredients.
  6. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until fork-tender.
