Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the potatoes by washing and slicing them thinly, about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish, slightly overlapping them.
  4. Mix together heavy cream, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl until combined. Pour half of this mixture over the first layer of potatoes.
  5. Sprinkle half of your favorite cheese blend on top of the cream-covered potatoes.
  6. Repeat with another layer of potatoes, followed by the remaining cream mix and cheese.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
