Beef Bulgogi Korean BBQ

Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 1 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar Brown sugar preferred
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 inch Ginger Grated
  • 1 tablespoon Gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Wine
  • 2 scallions Green Onions Chopped
Beef
  • 1 pound Beef Ribeye Thinly sliced
To Serve
  • 4 cups Cooked Rice
  • 1 cup Lettuce Leaves For wrapping
  • 1 cup Kimchi

Method
 

Prepare Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, gochujang, rice wine, and chopped green onions. Mix well.
Marinate Beef
  1. Add the thinly sliced beef ribeye to the marinade. Ensure all pieces are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Grill Beef
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated beef for about 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through.
Serve
  1. Serve the grilled beef bulgogi with cooked rice, lettuce leaves, and kimchi. Enjoy wrapping the beef in lettuce with rice and kimchi.

Notes

For a more authentic flavor, use Korean pear in the marinade.
