Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 pounds pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Cherry Balsamic Glaze
  • 1 cup cherry preserves
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season with salt and pepper.
Make the Cherry Balsamic Glaze
  1. In a saucepan, combine cherry preserves, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the preserves are melted and the sauce is smooth.
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
Grill the Ribs
  1. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 2 hours, turning occasionally.
  2. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, baste the ribs with the cherry balsamic glaze every 10 minutes.
  3. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the glaze overnight before grilling.
