Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cherries, pitted and chopped fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Croissants
  • 4 large croissants store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped cherries, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Assemble the Croissants
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut each croissant in half horizontally. Spoon the cherry chicken filling generously onto the bottom half of each croissant.
  2. Replace the top half of the croissant and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the filling is heated through.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm. Enjoy your Cherry Chicken Croissants!
