Ingredients
  

Beef and Vegetables
  • 1 pound ground beef lean
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch optional for thickening

Method
 

Cooking the Stir Fry
  1. Heat the sesame oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Add the garlic and ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced onion and bell peppers, stirring frequently for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the broccoli florets and soy sauce, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. If using, mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the stir fry to thicken the sauce.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
