Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 lb chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Wonton Tacos
  • 12 wontons wonton wrappers
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for brushing
For the Toppings
  • 1 ripe avocado diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for serving
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it rest before slicing.
Prepare the Wonton Tacos
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush wonton wrappers with olive oil and press them into a muffin tin to form taco shapes.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Fill each baked wonton taco with sliced chicken, diced avocado, and top with shredded cheese, sour cream, and cilantro.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize toppings based on your preference. Adding jalapeños or salsa can give it an extra kick.
