Method
Prepare the Ribs
- Preheat your grill to 225°F (107°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
- Mix all dry rub ingredients in a bowl and generously coat the ribs with the mixture.
Cook the Ribs
- Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on the grill.
- Cook for 4-5 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature.
- After 4 hours, check for tenderness; they should be tender and pull away from the bone.
Finish with BBQ Sauce
- Unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce.
- Increase the grill temperature to 350°F (177°C) and cook for an additional 30 minutes, basting with more sauce halfway through.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the dry rub.
