Ingredients
  

Collard Greens
  • 2 cups collard greens, chopped fresh or frozen
Cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded sharp or mild
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Other Ingredients
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Collard Greens
  1. If using fresh collard greens, wash and chop them. If using frozen, thaw and drain excess water.
Cook the Greens
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the collard greens until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
Mix the Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked collard greens, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
Add Cheese
  1. Stir in the cheddar and mozzarella cheese until evenly distributed.
Bake the Dip
  1. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

This dip can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving for a warm, cheesy treat.
