Ingredients
  

Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings Split into flats and drumettes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For coating
Peach Habanero Sauce
  • 2 cups fresh peaches Peeled and diced
  • 2 habanero peppers habanero peppers Seeds removed for less heat
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey For sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Prepare the Wings
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake the Wings
  1. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
Make the Sauce
  1. In a blender, combine the diced peaches, habanero peppers, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth, adjusting seasoning as needed.
Coat the Wings
  1. Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the peach habanero sauce until well coated.
Serve
  1. Serve the wings hot, garnished with additional peach slices or fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Adjust the number of habanero peppers based on your heat preference. Serve with a cooling dip like ranch or blue cheese.
