  • 8 Taco shells or tortillas Choose corn or flour.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Blend of sharp cheddar and Monterey Jack.
  • 1 cup Lettuce Crisp and fresh.
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes Juicy and vibrant.
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Sour cream Adds creaminess.
  • 1 cup Salsa Variety from mild to spicy.
  • 1 Avocado or guacamole Enhances flavors.
Bonus Ingredients (for casseroles)
  • 1 cup Cooked rice or quinoa Makes hearty leftovers.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  2. Add the leftover taco meat and cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  3. Sprinkle in cumin and chili powder, stir well, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Warm tortillas in a separate pan or microwave for about 30 seconds.
  5. Layer the heated taco meat onto each tortilla and add toppings.
