Ingredients
  

For the Fish
  • 1 lb white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
For the Mango Salsa
  • 1 cup ripe mango, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
For Serving
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded for crunch
  • 1/2 cup sour cream optional

Method
 

Prepare the Fish
  1. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge fish fillets in the flour mixture, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the fish until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the Mango Salsa
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet. Layer with shredded cabbage, crispy fish, and top with mango salsa. Drizzle with sour cream if desired.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the fish in lime juice and spices for 30 minutes before cooking.
