Ingredients

For the Patty
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend for optimal juiciness
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For Toppings
  • 4 slices blue cheese crumbled
  • 4 slices bacon cooked until crispy
  • 4 buns hamburger buns toasted
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise optional

Method

Prepare the Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
Cook the Patties
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side.
  2. Flip the patties and place a slice of blue cheese on top of each. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the desired doneness is reached.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. While the patties are cooking, prepare the buns by toasting them on the grill.
  2. Once the patties are cooked, place each patty on a toasted bun. Top with crispy bacon, shredded lettuce, and sliced tomato. Add mayonnaise if desired.
