Method
Prepare the Wings
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
Cook the Wings
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
Make the Sauce
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine peach preserves, chopped habanero peppers, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens slightly.
Coat the Wings
- Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large mixing bowl and pour the peach habanero sauce over them.
- Toss the wings until they are evenly coated in the sauce.
Serve
- Serve the wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
Notes
For an extra kick, add more habanero peppers or serve with a spicy dipping sauce.
