Ingredients
  

For the Ham
  • 1 each Spiral-cut ham use a quality pre-cooked ham for easy preparation
  • 1 can Pineapple slices these add sweetness and moisture
  • 1 cup Brown sugar caramelizes beautifully
  • 1/2 cup Honey adds depth of sweetness
For the Glaze
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard adds a tangy kick
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cloves provides warm spice notes
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar brightens flavors

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a roasting pan.
  2. Score the surface of the spiral ham in a diamond pattern, about 1/4 inch deep.
  3. Place the ham in the roasting pan, cut side down. Cover it loosely with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake the ham for approximately 15-18 minutes per pound until it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
Glaze
  1. Mix together brown sugar, pineapple juice, and ground cloves in a small bowl until well combined.
  2. Brush half of the glaze over the ham during the last 30 minutes of baking.
  3. Baste with remaining glaze halfway through cooking time.
Finishing Touches
  1. Rest the ham for at least 20 minutes after removing it from the oven.
  2. Optional: Garnish with fresh pineapple slices or cherries.

Notes

Choose a fully cooked, bone-in spiral ham for the best flavor and tenderness. Monitor internal temperature to prevent overcooking.
