Cooking
- Mash the cooked beans in a large skillet over medium heat, adding reserved liquid gradually until you reach your desired creaminess.
- Sauté diced onions and minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant and golden, about 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the sautéed mixture with the mashed beans, stirring to blend flavors together beautifully.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any additional spices you love, such as cumin or chili powder.
Notes
Optional: Top with fresh cilantro or a squeeze of lime for an extra burst of flavor.
