Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 lbs pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix together all dry rub ingredients and rub generously over the ribs.
Preheat the Grill
  1. Preheat the Pit Boss pellet grill to 225°F (107°C).
Smoke the Ribs
  1. Place the ribs on the grill grates bone side down and smoke for 3 hours.
  2. After 3 hours, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and return to the grill for an additional 2 hours.
Finish and Serve
  1. Remove the ribs from the foil, brush with BBQ sauce, and grill for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  2. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, use a fruit wood pellet for a sweeter smoke flavor.
