Ingredients
  

Shortcake Crust
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Ice Cream Layer
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream softened
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1/4 cup strawberry sauce

Method
 

Prepare the Shortcake Crust
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a loaf pan to form an even layer.
  4. Freeze for 30 minutes to set.
Assemble the Ice Cream Bars
  1. Spread softened vanilla ice cream over the shortcake crust in the loaf pan.
  2. Layer sliced strawberries evenly over the ice cream.
  3. Drizzle strawberry sauce on top and swirl gently with a spatula.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Serve
  1. Remove from the freezer and let sit for a few minutes before slicing into bars.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of vanilla extract to the ice cream layer.
