Ingredients
  

Burger Patties
  • 1 lb Ground beef 80/20 blend for best flavor
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
Avocado Corn Relish
  • 1 cup Corn Fresh or canned
  • 1 medium Avocado Diced
  • 1/2 cup Red onion Finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro Chopped
  • 1 lime Lime juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Burger Assembly
  • 4 pieces Burger buns Toasted
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese Optional
  • 1 cup Lettuce Shredded
  • 1 tomato Tomato Sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Burger Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
Cook the Patties
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked to desired doneness.
  3. If using, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Make the Avocado Corn Relish
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine corn, diced avocado, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently to combine.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. Place the grilled patties on the toasted burger buns.
  2. Top each patty with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, and a generous scoop of avocado corn relish.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the patties for a few hours before grilling.
