Ingredients
  

Shrimp Marinade
  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
For Grilling
  • 4 skewers wooden or metal skewers if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley.
Marinate the Shrimp
  1. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Skewer the Shrimp
  1. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers.
Grill the Skewers
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
Serve
  1. Remove from the grill and serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.

These shrimp skewers can be served with a side of rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
